When I handed the script to Rán Art, it was just words. But when she returned it to me, those words transformed into a vibrant world where I could meet my characters—both familiar and yet intriguingly new.
Let me introduce them to you.
The story unfolds in Dreamventure, a place where every time you open your eyes, you might see bright lights shining from little dreams. These dreams are alive, quite literally. Do they resemble their human companions? I believe they do.

Meet Neem, our central character who faces an unusual challenge: his dream arrived late. He shares a cozy wooden house with three ducks, overlooking the Rainbow Village, where he grew up and knows all the villagers. Why is it called Rainbow Village? That’s a sweet secret for you to discover as you read! What I can tell you now is that the village is surrounded by trees, where people cherish nature as deeply as they value their dreams. Neem’s daily task? Cleaning tree bark.
Though he may appear a bit clumsy, he possesses a curious mind and a determined spirit. Remember, appearances can be deceiving; we must look deeply into their thoughts and actions.

On his journey to find the answer to “where to discover his own dream,” Neem encounters a variety of places and people.
There’s a cloud artist who shapes and sculpts clouds. Living atop a cloud hill, he can reach and create any cloud he desires.

Then there’s Pla, a little girl who owns a giant tropical garden where everything is larger than life. I can picture her dancing joyfully all day long.

And let’s not forget the old man who lives in a hot air balloon, managing the delicate transitions between night and day. I can easily imagine him savoring each subtle change as the sunlight fades, pipe in hand.

And there are even more fascinating characters waiting for you to discover! Can you guess what they are doing just by looking at the illustrations? What dreams do they hold?
